From uncertainty to action
What participants learn
The course follows the chain of survival from the initial assessment until the ambulance arrives. Each action is explained and demonstrated before participants practise in small groups.
Create safety
Assess the situation without putting the first aider at risk.
Check the person
Check responsiveness and normal breathing quickly and systematically.
Call 1-1-2
Provide clear information and delegate tasks.
Start CPR
Practise chest compressions and rescue breaths on a manikin.
Use an AED
Attach the pads, follow the instructions and continue CPR.
Help an unconscious person
Open the airway, use the recovery position and monitor breathing.
Why practical training matters
In a real emergency, your hands must remember what your head has learned. Every participant uses a manikin and AED trainer, changes roles and brings the skills together in a realistic situation.
- Everyone practises CPR
- Everyone uses an AED trainer
- Participants change roles
- Mistakes are corrected calmly and clearly
- The course ends with a complete practical scenario
Who is the course for?
It is relevant to offices, shops, facilities, trades, production, institutions, associations and other workplaces. Where falls, machinery or severe bleeding are also risks, add accident or injury modules.
